The Firefly Project is a really cool pen pal program at UCSF's Art for Recovery that matches cancer patients with students, most of whom are studying to be medical professionals.  

 

We share our stories and get to know each other through snail mail. Watch this space, and when I'm able to release our photos and all the letters of the four students I've been corresponding with, I'll post it.
